Kam Gillar
Kam Gillar(MSc CBT, MBA)

My training has involved a number of different approaches to therapy including a Masters in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy, a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Performance Coaching and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) training.

I have many years of experience working in the private sector and charitable organisations. In my private practice I implement different psychotherapeutic approaches in a flexible and cooperative manner, integrating elements from cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness and psychodynamic principles. My specialist interests include trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and eating disorders.

I believe that using a different range of therapies to suit each individual client allows me to help you find the solutions to whatever problems you are facing.

I am an accredited member of the British Association of Behavioural Cognitive Psychotherapists. (BABCP). I follow a strict code of conduct and ethics. As part of being a member of the BABCP I keep up to date with my professional training and qualifications and I continue to broaden my professional development including regular supervision.

I undertake additional trainings every year and I am constantly looking to develop my knowledge, skills and understanding in the field of psychotherapy, counseling and coaching.
